2.29.16

"Today at Friday Courses, I learned a clapping game called Apple on the Stick. I also learned how to do the cats cradle called Jacob's Ladder. It was super fun. Then, my course leader said that it was time to go back to class," Zuki said excitedly.

So much is happening this week! Tomorrow morning, Andrea Tanaka will offer the Sea Class a bike demonstration, then the Santa Cruz Warriors captains are visiting again! On Friday, the whole school will go bowling and to the Boardwalk for a self-guided tour of machines! Fun fun, and thank you to the drivers who have already signed up with Michelle Easter to drop off, pick up, or both!

Last week we enjoyed a presentation from a budding inventor: Sami J! Sami created a toy and shared his invention in class and at recesses. Inspired invention!

The students and I have begun preparing for Spring Student Led Conferences! Due to my new favorite sport, 'extreme calendar', Sea Class conferences will span five days. There is a sign up sheet outside the classroom door, or you can call, text, or email me with the time slot you want. First come, first served!
